The true story of George Watt who at 23 volunteered to fight fascism in the Spanish Civil War, and Ruth Watt, his newlywed wife, who fought on the homefront to awaken the people to the dangers of dictatorships as told in their correspondence and accompanied by a balladeer playing and singing the music of the times.
